The Albatross with a Thousand Stories
With his broad wings, distinctive hooked beak and love of the open sky, Alby is the great traveller of Krillbee’s circle of friends. He has followed winds across vast stretches of ocean, seen distant shores and collected more stories than he could possibly tell in one afternoon.
Alby is a wonderful guide when the friends need a view from above. He notices distant landmarks, recognises changes in the weather and often remembers a useful lesson from one of his many journeys. The only difficulty is that his explanation may begin with, “This reminds me of the time…” and turn into a magnificent adventure of its own.
Beneath his dramatic storytelling is a dependable and caring friend. Alby loves sharing what he has learnt, but his greatest discoveries sometimes come when he stops talking long enough to hear what the younger adventurers have noticed for themselves.
