The Leopard Seal Who Loves a Mystery
Luna is a leopard seal, with a long, streamlined body, a distinctive seal profile and a softly spotted coat. Powerful and graceful in the water, she loves exploring places that are unfamiliar, especially when the Antarctic world turns quiet and mysterious.
Luna has a curious mind and an independent spirit. A strange shape beneath the ice or an unexplained sound in a sheltered channel is just the sort of puzzle that catches her attention. She is often willing to investigate before everyone else has agreed on a plan. That confidence can be useful, although it sometimes means she keeps an interesting discovery to herself a little too long.
Luna and Whisper are good reminders that two seals can see the world very differently. Whisper listens patiently from within the group; Luna likes to venture out and investigate. Luna is learning that sharing an adventure does not make it any less exciting—and that even the boldest explorer can enjoy having a friend beside her.
