The Whale Who Sees Wonder Everywhere
Azure Aria is a magnificent blue-coloured whale with elegant pale markings, broad flippers and a calm, welcoming smile. She moves through the Southern Ocean with quiet grace and finds inspiration in the changing light, shimmering ice and rhythms of the water around her.
While some of her friends rush towards the next adventure, Azure likes to imagine what an adventure could become. She can picture a beautiful decoration in a piece of ice or see the beginning of a celebration where somebody else sees an empty stretch of shore. Her ideas are often gentle and surprising, and she sometimes needs encouragement to share them.
Azure does not use magic to solve problems. Her special quality is imagination joined with kindness. She reminds Krillbee and the others that making something wonderful is not always about making it bigger. Sometimes beauty begins with a thoughtful idea, offered at just the right moment.
