Whisper

Whisper is a Weddell seal with a softly spotted coat, bright, thoughtful eyes and a very unusual talent: she knows how to listen. While her friends are busy making plans, asking questions or talking over one another, Whisper is often quietly taking in what is happening around them.

She pays attention to the sound of water beneath the ice, the wind along the shore and the little details that other animals overlook. She rarely needs a long speech. Sometimes one carefully chosen sentence is enough to change everything. Her friends have also discovered that her quiet observations can be surprisingly funny.

Whisper enjoys peaceful moments, but she is never simply a bystander. When an important clue needs sharing or a friend needs someone to listen, she finds the courage to speak. Krillbee is learning that a quiet voice can have something very important to say.
